The Breyer Ideal Series – Pinto brings fine equine art to life in three dimensions, celebrating the beauty, diversity, and spirit of the Pinto horse.
Inspired by the work of legendary artist Orren Mixer (1920–2008), this hand-painted model reflects one of his famed “ideal” breed paintings—created to honor not just a single conformation, but the many forms and disciplines in which Pintos excel. Mixer’s original Pinto artwork was commissioned in 2000 by the Pinto Horse Association of America and remains on display at the Pinto Heritage Museum in Bethany, Oklahoma.
